The project investigates methodologies to analyze strategies for the deployment of charging points for the electrification of heavy road transport. After identifying the most relevant Spanish and European regulations in this regard, a technical-economic evaluation of the different options for the electrification of such transport is carried out and a tool is developed to optimize the location and size of recharging points according to various criteria, including, at an advanced stage of the project, the impact on the distribution networks themselves.
